Climate of Beijing

The four seasons of Beijing are clear. Winter is dry; spring is windy; summer is rainy; autumn is sunny and mild with the average temperature from 10 to 12℃, -7 ℃ to 4 ℃ in January and 25 ℃ and 26 ℃。 The average temperature of the year is about 12 ℃. Spring and autumn are short, which last two months and one and a half months respectively; summer and winter last three months and over five months respectively. The annual precipitation is 640 mm. The precipitation distribution is not even. 75% of the precipitation is in summer, and in July and August there are always storms. In September and October, the weather is clear, refreshing, and comfortable with the best-quality air. Autumn is the most beautiful season of the year.

From mid-November to mid-March of the next year, the weather is cold and dry, so you'd better take sweaters, sweat pants, and cotton covers etc. to prevent from the coldness. Started from the mid-November, Beijing will have the heating. With the heating facilities, the temperature indoors is about 20 ℃. Please take off your coat when you get indoors, and put on the coat when you go outdoors. Take the cold medicine to prevent from the cold.
