Zhangjiajie's main airport is Zhangjiajie Lotus Airport, situated in the lotus village in the Yong Ding District, 5km away from the downtown. It provides plenty of flights to the large and medium cities in China and some Asian countries, such as Hong Kong, Macau, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Qingdao, Xian, Shenyang, Tianjin, Nanjing, Changsha, Seoul (South Korea), Pusan (South Korea), and Bangkok (Thailand) and so on.

There are many railway transportations with connections to all wind directions that can reach most cities of China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Nanning, Changsha, Guangzhou, Luoyang, Liuzhou etc. We don’t recommend tourists take train to Zhangjiajie because it will waste a lot of time and get tired during your trip.
