West Lake of Hangzhou

West Lake is a famous fresh water lake located in the historic area of Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province in eastern China. The lake is divided by the causeways of Su Di, Bai Di and Yang Gong Di. There are numerous temples, pagodas, gardens, and artificial islands within the lake. "Hangzhou West Lake Cultural Landscape" began in the 9th century, formed in the 13th century, thrived in the 18th century, and inheritance development up to now.
