"Dynamic Yunnan" Performance

Dynamic Yunnan is a fusion of traditional ethnic folk music and modern dance. It draws from Yunnan's rich legends and cultural traditions to express the struggles and aspirations of the human condition.

Kunming Chuncheng Theater

With a history of twenty years, Kunming Chuncheng Theater is a large-scale multi-functional consolidated entertainment venue setting theatrical performances, conferences, film screenings, high-tech digital movies, shopping, and dining into one.

Wenhua Street   

Wenhua Street is the Foreigners` Street in Kunming. There are some good restaurants here. You can taste Japanese cooking, Korean cuisine and absolutely all kinds of local delicacies of Yunnan. You can not only have your meal here, but also do some shopping. And there are many foreigners here. Some of them have been in Kunming for more than one year.

1. The Hump Bar

The Hump over the Himalayas Hostel’s relaxed rooftop bar offers an excellent location to have a drink while taking in a great view of Kunming’s city center. The bar provides an opportunity to compare notes with other travelers in a laid back, informal atmosphere.  Any information, advice, or helpful tips can be obtained and/or discussed here.

2. Chapter One

Chapter One is one of the better bar options in Kunming. This book bar is one of the more enjoyable bars in town and holds its status with a growing number of loyal customers, where most other bars in Kunming seem to tire quickly. The drinks are cheap, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is comfortable. There is plenty of room upstairs and downstairs to relax, read a book.

3. Speakeasy Bar

The Speakeasy Bar attracts some of the bigger crowds in Kunming, especially on weekends. This underground bar offers two pool tables, a stage for live music (on occasion), plenty of area to sit, a dance floor that gets busy on Friday and Saturday, and rotating DJs that spin different kinds of music throughout the week. Cocktails are cheap but could stand to be a bit stronger.
