Qingcheng Mountain is located in southwest of Dujiangyan City, approximately 16km away from Dujiangyan downtown area, and 68 km east of Chengdu. About 45 minutes - 1½ hours by bus (¥ 16, 45 minutes via high way; ¥ 8.5, 1½ hours via ordinary road) from Chadianzi Bus Station in Chengdu. The bus drops you off at the front gate, which is not actually the start of the trails. A new express train service now runs from Chengdu's North Train Station, taking about 45 minutes. It is best to buy tickets the day before you depart, as they often sell out ahead of time, even on weekdays. Train costs ¥15. At the train station, you'll need to take a short busride to reach the start of the trails. Walk out of the train station to the left toward the bus station, generally following the crowd. Take bus 101 for ¥1.5 to the entrance to the mountain.
