Who built the Beijing Lama Temple?

My wife and I will have a trip to Beijing during the Chinese spring festival, we will visit some Tibetan buildings including the Lama Temple, I wonder who and when built the temple?

The Lama Temple in Beijing, also called Yonghegong Lamasery, was a palatial residence built in 1694 by Qing emperor Kangxi for his fourth son, Prince Yongzheng who later succeeded to the throne.
