On this classical China Muslim trip, we will explore the historical Muslim sites and monuments in the recent capital Beijing, the vibrant city Shanghai and the starting point of the ancient silk road - Xian. Travelers can stroll on the old city quarter and understand the unique lifestyle, diet and special clothes and their spirits.

  • Day 1 Beijing

    Transfer via: international flight - your arrangement

    Activities for today: Airport to hotel transfer

    Be met at the airport and transfer to your hotel at downtown.

  • Day 2 Beijing

    Transfer via: private vehicle

    Activities for today: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven

    After breakfast at your hotel, meet the guide and start today's city tour from the Tiananmen Square which is the largest city square in the world, followed by the Forbidden City. It is the largest imperial palace in China for 24 emperors' reign during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years. Lunch will be taken at a local Chinese restaurant.

    In the afternoon, transfer to visit the Temple of Heaven, which is a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation.

  • Day 3 Beijing

    Activities for today: Mutianyu Great Wall, Sacred Way, Changling Tomb

    Today you will travel into the rugged mountain landscapes north of the capital to the magnificent Mutianyu Great Wall. We've arranged for you to ascend to the site by cable car so you can conserve your time and energy to explore along the wall. Although sections can be steep, the views from this ancient structure are magnificent and the experience of actually walking atop the Great Wall is truly unforgettable.

    Afternoon continue with your travel guide and stroll along the statue-lined Sacred Way to visit Changling Tomb, one of the famous 13 Ming Tombs. Back in the city and make a photographic stopover at the Olympics Park to take some photos of the iconic venues of the 2008 Summer Olympics – the Birds Nest Stadium and the Water Cube.

  • Day 4 Beijing

    Activities for today: Summer Palace, Dongsi Mosque, Beijing Hutong

    Morning meet the guide and drive to visit the Summer Palace, which is the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China with a history of over 800 years. You will take a short boat on the Kunming Lake.

    In the afternoon, visit the Dongsi Mosque and then hire a rickshaw to visit the famous Beijing old alleys - Hutong.

  • Day 5 Beijing / Xi'an

    Transfer via: domestic flight - on our arrangement

    Activities for today: Bell Tower, Ancient City Wall

    Meet the guide and transfer to Beijing airport for the morning flight to Xi'an.

    Upon arrival in Xi'an, meet the local guide and transfer to visit the Ancient City wall, which is the best-kept and biggest city walls in China. And then, pay a visit to the Bell Tower. The tower is a stately traditional building, that marks the geographical center of the ancient capital.

  • Day 6 Xi'an

    Activities for today: Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Great Mosque, Muslim Quarters

    After breakfast at the hotel, meet the guide and drive to visit the Xi'an Daqin Terracotta & Lacquer Furniture Art Factory. In the factory, you can see the process of how to make Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Continue drive to visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It is one of the most important archaeological finds in the 20th century, an army of terracotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb since 2,200 year ago.

    In the afternoon, visit the Great Mosque and have a free walk at the nearby Muslim Quarters.

  • Day 7 Xi'an / Shanghai

    Transfer via: domestic flight - on our arrangement

    Activities for today: The Bund, Nanjing Road

    Transfer to Xi'an Xianyang Airport for the morning flight to Shanghai.

    Upon arrival in Shanghai, you will be met and transfer to visit the Bund and Nanjing Road. Free evening for your own leisure.

    Recommended evening activity: Acrobatic Night Show.

  • Day 8 Shanghai

    Transfer via: private vehicle

    Activities for today: Yu Garden, Xiaotaoyuan Mosque, Oriental Pearl TV Tower

    Today guide tour to visit the Yu Garden. The garden used to be a private garden with 400 years' history; it features traditional architectural style of Yangtze Delta. Followed by a visit to the Xiaotaoyuan Mosque and Pudong New Area.

    In the afternoon, visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower where has best viewing spot of Shanghai located by the Huangpu River with 468 meters high. Free evening for your own exploration.

  • Day 9 Shanghai/Exit
