The Ancient Steles in Xian Stele Forest Museum
Founded in 1080AD, the Stele Fores of Xian (aka Forest of Stone Tablets) has a collection of over 2,300 pieces of stone tablets and epitaphs belonging to Han, Wei Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. They are considered with very high historic and artistic values. It is called " the Largest Library of Stone Books" in China.
