Ancient City of Ping Yao
The Ancient City of Pingyao is located in the central Shanxi Province, is a famous cultural city with a history of more than 2,700 years. The Ancient City was built in 827 BC - 782 BC during Zhou Xuanwang Period and was built by Yin Jifu, the general of Western Zhou Dynasty, Who garrison in Pingyao. The Ancient City of Pingyao has become the most complete existing prototype of a county town during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
