China World Heritage Sites
China ratified The Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage on December 12, 1985. Up to June 22, 2013, China ranks second in the world and first in Asia by number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites with 45, and the below is a list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in China. Of these 31 are cultural heritage sites, 10 are natural heritage sites, and 4 are cultural and natural (mixed) sites. Also, we provide the Candidates List of World Heritage Sites which is in the works. These China world heritage sites comprise some of the most essential part of China's valuable and worth to be incorporated in your China trip.
