2023 China (Western) Healthy Food Expo to Kick Off

The 2023 China (Western) Healthy Food Expo will take place at Mianyang International Convention and Exhibition Center  from June 16 to 19, according to a press conference held by the Information Office of the People's Government of Sichuan Province on May 29.

The Expo is co-sponsored by China National Food Industry Association and Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology , and jointly undertaken by Mianyang Municipal People's Government, Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce, Sichuan Provincial Economic and Information Department, and Sichuan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.With the theme of "Sharing Healthy Food and Working Together to Create a Quality Life" , the Expo strives to build a healthy food exhibition platform integrating theoretical exchange, product display and production-marketing matchmaking, give full play to the resource advantages in western China, leverage the scientific and technological innovation of modern food industry, and promote the high-quality development of the healthy food industry in China.

During the period, "one expo, three conferences, four forums and one corridor" will be staged. One expo refers to China (Western) Healthy Food Expo. The Expo will last for four days with exhibition and sales activities in 12 exhibition areas such as healthy leisure food and prepared food. The three conferences include China Characteristic Food Industry Summit, the Investment Promotion and Sourcing Fair and the New Healthy Food Product Launch. The four forums are 2023 China (Western) Healthy Food Industry Development Forum, the Second China (Mianyang) Rice Noodle Industry Development Forum 2023, the Forum on Technology Empowering Innovative Development of Healthy Food, and the Forum on Food Safety Enabling a Healthy Life. One corridor refers to working together to build the Fujiang River Basin Food Corridor .

During the Expo, participants will discuss new trends in the healthy food industry around innovation in scientific research and production, contribute to the modernization drive of traditional food with regional characteristics in western China, focus on difficulties and pain points in industrial development, explore ways to break bottlenecks, promote the establishment of a diversified food supply system, and provide theoretical guidance for the sustainable development of the food industry.
