Yunnan is a province of the People's Republic of China, located in the far southwest of the country. Due to the high elevation, winter in Shangri-La are chilly but sunny, with a January 24-hour average temperature of −3.2 ℃ (26.2 °F). Xishuangbanna

Xishuangbanna is an autonomous prefecture in the south of Yunnan province, People's Republic of China.
