Part of Shaoshan Mao Zedong Memorial Museum Closed Since Aug. 1
Beginning from August 1, 2023, the exhibition area showcasing Mao Zedong's Life Story, which is a part of the Shaoshan Mao Zedong Memorial Museum, will be temporarily closed for upgrading and renovation. This announcement was made on the museum's WeChat official account on July 25.
Information regarding the reopening will be announced through the official website and WeChat public account of Tianxia Shaoshan, as well as the museum's WeChat public account, WeChat Channels account, and Douyin.
However, the themed exhibition area of the museum, Mao Zedong's Former Residence, Nan'an Old-style Private School, and Mao's Ancestral Hall, will remain open as usual.
