Datong Nine-Dragon Wall China
This is one of Datong's several 'dragon screens' - tiled walls depicting fire-breathing dragons made from separats glazed-ceramic plates. The Nine Dragon Screen was originally part of the gate of the palace of Ming Dyanasty emperor Hong Wu's 13th son, and is eight meters thick. The Nine Dragon Screen is a short way east of the Da Dongjie/Da Beijie intersecton; you can get there on bus No 4 from the railway station.
