The Worship Hall in Niujie Mosque

The main building in Niujie Mosque is the Grand Hall which consist of the Cave Hall, Worship Hall and Attached Hall. The Cave Hall or Mihrab was built in the Liao Dynasty and expanded in Ming and Qing dynasties covering total 760 square meters of area and 39 metrs in length. It is featured with classical Arabic and Chinese artistic decorations. Mihrab, Minbar and other precious relics were reserved in the Grand Hall.
