Upon arrival in Beijing, you will meet the local guide at the airport and be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy at your leisure.

Day 2 Beijing

Activities for today: Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Beijing Hutong, Peking Duck Dinner

After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet the guide to begin today's city tour, starting from Tian'anmen Square, the largest city square in the world, followed by the Forbidden City. This iconic palace served as the imperial residence for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties, boasting a history of approximately 600 years.

In the afternoon, you will experience a unique mode of transportation by taking a 3-wheel rickshaw to explore the Hutong area and visit a local family. Hutong represents the distinctive street layout of Beijing, characterized by interconnected narrow lanes lined with traditional courtyard houses, offering a glimpse into the daily life of Beijing residents.

To conclude the day, indulge in a renowned Peking Duck Banquet for dinner in the evening.

Day 3 Beijing

Activities for today: Mutianyu Great Wall, Cloisonné Factory, 798 Art Zone

Following breakfast at your hotel, rendezvous with your guide and embark on a journey to the Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall, an iconic marvel and a symbol of China. Here, you can partake in a brief hike along this historic structure.

In the afternoon, venture to the Cloisonné Factory to witness the creation of traditional Beijing cultural art. Subsequently, continue your exploration by visiting the 798 Art Zone, a dynamic artistic enclave situated on the outskirts of Beijing.

For an optional evening activity, consider attending a captivating Chinese Kung Fu Show.

Day 4 Beijing/Xi'an

Activities for today: Temple of Heaven Park, train station transfer

After breakfast, visit the Temple of Heaven Park, a magnificent example of architecture and landscape design where ancient emperors once prayed for the nation's blessings from the gods. You may also have the opportunity to observe local seniors enjoying their retired life in the morning. Following this visit, we will drive to Beijing West Train Station to catch the high-speed train to Xian. Upon arriving at Xian North Train Station, you will be greeted by a local driver who will transfer you to the hotel for check-in.

Day 5 Xi'an

Activities for today: Qin Wang Cultural Relics Replication Factory, Terracotta Warriors MuseuMuslim Quarters, The Ever-Bright City of Tang Dynasty

Meet your guide at your hotel at 08:00 and depart to visit the Qin Wang Cultural Relics Replication Factory. Here, you can witness the intricate process involved in creating replicas of the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. After this, continue to explore the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. This site is home to an army of terra-cotta warriors and bronze chariots buried in vast underground chambers near Emperor Qin's tomb for over 2200 years.

In the afternoon, take a leisurely stroll through the bustling Muslim Quarters, famous for its diverse culinary offerings. In the evening, visit The Ever-Bright City of the Tang Dynasty, a prominent cultural and commercial pedestrian street known for its immersive Tang Dynasty-themed architecture, lively nightlife, and historical performances.

Day 6 Xi'an/Guilin

Transfer via: domestic flight - on our arrangement

Activities for today: Shaanxi Provincial Museum, Ancient City Wall, airport transfer

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum, an extraordinary institution that boasts over 370,000 historical relics. In the event that the museum is not accessible, we may opt to visit another renowned museum, such as the Xi'an Museum. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to explore the Ancient City Wall, known for being the best-preserved and largest city wall in China. Following your sightseeing excursion, you will be escorted to Xianyang International Airport for your departure flight. Upon your arrival at Guilin Liangjiang International Airport, our driver will be there to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in.

Day 7 Guilin/Yangshuo/Guilin

Activities for today: Li River Cruise, West Street

After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your guide and drive approximately 40 minutes to Zhujiang Pier for the Li River Cruise to Yangshuo. During this scenic 3.5-4 hour cruise along a crystal-clear river surrounded by picturesque landscapes, you will be treated to breathtaking views. Lunch, a Chinese buffet, will be served on board. Upon reaching Yangshuo, take a leisurely stroll along West Street before returning to Guilin.

Day 8 Yangshuo/Guilin/Shanghai

Activities for today: Elephant Hill, Reed Flute Cave, airport transfer

In the morning, drive 1.5 hours back to Guilin for a city tour to Elephant Hill. The hill, a symbol of Guilin, resembles a giant elephant drinking water from the Li River. Next, visit the Reed Flute Cave, known for its fantastic stalactites and stalagmites formations, often referred to as the "Natural Art Gallery." In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai.

Upon arrival in Shanghai, you will be met by a local driver who will take you to your hotel for check-in.

Day 9 Shanghai

Activities for today: Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition, Yu Garden, the Bund, Nanjing Road

Meet your guide in the hotel lobby at 8:00 am and begin a tour to visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition. This exhibition showcases a large-scale model of Shanghai, displaying all existing and approved buildings. You can observe the model from the side or ascend to a gallery surrounding it for aerial views. Afterward, we will explore Yu Garden, a beautiful small garden located in the historic Shanghai Old Quarters. In the afternoon, we will leisurely stroll along the Bund and Nanjing Road to experience the fusion of old and new Shanghai.

Optional evening activity: Acrobatic Night Show.

Day 10 Shanghai

Activities for today: Zhujiajiao Water Town, Xintiandi area

After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and drive to Zhujiajiao Water Town to experience traditional life in the Yangtze River Delta region. In the afternoon, return to Shanghai city to relax and enjoy some leisure time in the Xintiandi Area.

Day 11 Shanghai/Exit
