Day 1 Arrive in Shanghai
Transfer via: international flight - on your own
Upon arrival in Shanghai, meet the local guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel for check in. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2 Shanghai
Activities for today: Yu Garden, Old Quarters, Xintiandi, Shanghai Museum, The Bund, Nanjing Road
After breakfast at your hotel, meet your tour guide and drive to visit the Yu Garden. The garden used to be a private garden with 400 years' history; it features traditional architectural style of Yangtze Delta. After that, have a free walk on the nearby Old Street and Xintiandi Area. Lunch will be taken at a local Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Shanghai Museum which is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. Later, enjoy a walking at your own pace along the Bund and Nanjing Road.

Day 3 Shanghai
Activities for today: Zhujiajiao Water Town, Jiangnan Silk Workshop
After breakfast at the hotel, meet the guide and drive to Zhujiajiao Water Town to see the traditional life at Yangtze River Delta. You will take a short boat in the water town. After lunch, drive back to Shanghai, and pay a visit to the Jiangnan Silk Workshop. Free for your own leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 4 Shanghai/Suzhou/Huangshan
Transfer via: overnight train for soft-sleeper with shared cabin and toilet - on our arrangement
Activities for today: Humble Administrator's Garden, Grand Canal Cruise, No.1 Silk Factory
In the morning, meet the guide and drive to Suzhou. Visit the Humble Administrator's Garden, the largest and most renowned garden. It is listed as a World Cultural Heritage site and has also been designated as one of the Cultural Relics of National Importance under the Protection of the State as well as a Special Tourist Attraction of China. Lunch will be taken at a local Chinese restaurant.
In the afternoon, take a short boat on the Grand Canal which is also known as the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. It is the earliest and the longest artificial river in the world that is ten times of the Suez Canal and 22 times of the Panama Canal. Like the Great Wall, the Grand Canal is regarded as one of the two great projects in Chinese ancient time. Today's tour ends at the No. 1 Silk Factory to see the process of how to make silk and free shopping. Transfer to the Railway station for the overnight train to Huangshan. -
Day 5 Huangshan
Activities for today: Tunxi Old Town, Mt. Huangshan
Upon arrival in Huangshan Railway station in the morning, meet the local guide and transfer to a local restaurant on Tunxi Old Street for breakfast. Drive about 1.5 hours to the foot of Mt. Huangshan (Yellow Mountain). You will take a cable car up to the top of the mountain, and have a short hiking to your hotel. Mt. Huangshan is regarded as one of the most beautiful mountain in China, featured with oddly-shaped pines, grotesque rock formation, cloud sea and hot springs. After checking into your hotel and lunch, you will visit the Brush Pen Peak, Lion Peak, and Xihai Grand Canyon. Stay overnight at the summit.

Day 6 Huangshan / Hangzhou

Activities for today: Hongcun Village
In the morning, a short hiking and see the sunrise if weather permits. After that, take a cable car down the mountain. And drive to visit Hong Cun Village. It is an ancient village of over 800 years and wins the reputation of "The Chinese town in the pictures". The famous movie "Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon" was partly filmed here. After the tour, drive about 3.5 hours to Hangzhou and free evening.

Day 7 Hangzhou
Activities for today: Lingyin Temple & Feilai Peak, West Lake by boat cruise, Tea Plantation.
Today city tour to visit the West Lake. It is the symbol of Hangzhou. And the islets and temples, pavilions and gardens, causeways and arched bridges of this jade-like lake have constituted the supreme example of lakeside beauty in China. You will take a short boat on the lake. Followed by a visit to the Lingyin Temple and Feilai Peak. Lingyin Temple is one of the most prestigious Buddhist monasteries in China, while the Feilai Peak stands by Lingyin Temple with a collection of more than 470 Buddhist carvings dating back to 1000 years ago. Today's trip ends at a Dragon Well Tea Plantation. Drive to your hotel and free at leisure.

Day 8 Hangzhou / Guilin

Activities for today: Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Hill
In the morning, meet the guide and transfer to Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport for the morning flight to Guilin.
Upon arrival in Guilin, meet the local guide and transfer to visit the Reed Flute Cave, which is a fantastic stalactites & stalagmites formation, known as "Natural Art Gallery". Continued to visit the symbol of Guilin - Elephant Hill. Drive to your hotel for a leisure time and you can choose to take a leisure walking on the Central Lake on your own. -
Day 9 Guilin/Yangshuo
Transfer via: Cruise - arranged by Trip China Guide
Activities for today: Li River Cruise, West Street
After breakfast at the hotel, meet the guide and drive about 40 minutes to Zhujiang Pier, and take a cruise on the Li River (about 3.5-4 hours) and enjoy a simple Chinese buffet lunch on board. Upon arrival at the small town Yangshuo in the afternoon. Check in your hotel and free for your own exploration (perhaps strolling or shopping for some souvenirs along the West Street).
Recommended evening activity: Impression Liu Sanjie, an outdoor night show, performing on the Li River. -
Day 10 Yangshuo / Ping'an Village
Transfer via: private vehicle
Activities for today: Cycling Tour to the Countryside, Bamboo Rafting
Ride bike to the beautiful countryside, and then enjoy bamboo rafting along the Yulong River. It winds its way in a picturesque valley sided by stunning limestone hills. Sitting on a bamboo rafting (twin sharing), you can lie down on the chair smelling the fragrance of rice, enjoying the gentle water buffalo walking on the bank. On the way, you can also slide down some small dams on the raft as a soft adventure. Great fun and exciting! Transfer to Ping'an, a Zhuang people's village with numerous break taking rice terraces.

Day 11 Ping'an/ Xi'an

Activities for today: Longji Rice Terrace
Visit the No. 1 & No. 2 Viewing Points in the village. Transfer to airport and fly to Xian. Upon arrival, be picked up to the hotel check in. Free evening for your own leisure.

Day 12 Xi'an
Transfer via: overnight train for soft-sleeper with shared cabin and toilet - on our arrangement
Activities for today: Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Tomb of Emperor Qinshihuang, Ancient City Wall
After breakfast at the hotel, meet the guide and drive to visit the Xi'an Daqin Terra-Cotta & Lacquer Furniture Art Factory. In the factory, you can see the process of how to make Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. Continue drive to visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It is one of the most important archaeological finds in the 20 th century; an army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb since 2200 year ago. After that, pay a visit to the Tomb of Emperor Qinshihuang. Drive back to the city and visit the Xi'an Ancient City Wall. The wall is the best-kept and biggest city walls in China. Free walk on the Muslim Quarters (Old City Street) until transfer to the railway station for the overnight train to Beijing.

Day 13 Beijing
Activities for today: Hutong Tour
Be picked up at the railway station and transferred to the hotel for a leisure morning (check in if room available). In the afternoon, enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime rickshaw tour through the Hutongs, the narrow streets of ancient Beijing. Then visit the famous Tibetan lamasery - Yonghegong. Tonight, enjoy a Peking duck dinner at a small restaurant in the Hutong - Laozhaiyuan Restaurant.
Recommended evening activity: Beiing Opera, a night show in the colorful costumes and interesting music. -
Day 14 Beijing
Activities for today: Temple of Heaven, Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City
After breakfast, explore the world-famous Temple of Heaven, an ornate sanctuary where the ancient Chinese emperors worshiped their gods, today the site become a park and many locals enjoy their morning activities there. Proceed to visit the expansive and historic Tiananmen Square. Continue to the Forbidden City, a vast network of palaces, including five halls, seventeen palaces and numerous other buildings.

Day 15 Beijing
Activities for today: Mutianyu Great Wall, Dingling Tomb
The Great Wall, China's legendary landmark, is yours to discover today. During your visit, walk along a portion (Mutianyu Great Wall) of this 3,700 mile marvel! Travel through the Valley of the Ming Tombs where you will walk along the Sacred Way, which means "the road leading to heaven." Then continue to visit the Dingling Tomb.

Bid farewell to China and depart on your onward flight home.
