How to Get Mount Wuyi

The best ways to get in Mount Wuyi are by air or train via some major Chinese cities to Wuyishan City. The city is only 15 km way from the Mount Wuyi (Wuyishan Scenic Area). By Flight

The Wuyishan airport was built in 1958. Tourist can take flight to Wuyishan from these major Chinese cities: Xiamen, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Xi'an, Kunming, Qingdao, and Hong Kong, and so on.

By Train

There are trains, overnight from Xiamen and several hours from Fuzhou.

There is one train (Z59/Z58 14:47 - 06:17) from Beijing, it takes 15 hours, leaving Beijing in the afternoon and arriving at Wuyishan early the next morning.

There are 3 daily trains from Shanghai (South Railway Station) to Wuyishan: K197/K200 (20:26 - 05:42), K163 (12:14 - 22:57), and K525 (17:23 - 03:40).

By Bus

Tourists can also take “Xiamen to Wuyishan” luxury sightseeing bus, which takes about 10 hours.
