Lugu Lake is located in the northwest of Yunnan province. The Erhai Lake is located in the Dali Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province. Since it has a shape of an ear, it gets the name Erhai Lake. It is ranked the seventh freshwater lake in China by area and water storage. There is fascinating scenery.

7. Shuodu Lake
Shuo Lake, located northeast of the Shangri-La, is one of the largest highland lakes in Shangri-La County. The lake is surrounded by colorful mountains, where is a fairy-tale world.
8. Stone Forest
The Stone Forest is situated in Shilin Yi Autonomous County, 78 kilometers southeast of Kunming. It is a typical karst formation; the Stone Forest covers an area of about 350 square kilometers.

Xishuangbanna Dai Park is located 27 km away from Jinghong City, with five natural Dai villages in the park. There are beautiful scenery and simple folk customs, features unique Buddhist culture and tropical garden landscape.
10. Tengchong
Tengchong is located in the southwest border of Yunnan, bordering with Myanmar in the west. It was once the fortress of the Southwest Silk Road. There are China's most densely volcanoes and geothermal springs as well as rich biological resources.
