Asked by Jane Beament from Australia 2014-10-22

Which main city is the elevator near please?

Answered by Trip China Guide    2014-10-22

The elevator is located in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in Zhangjiajie City. The best way to get there is by air via Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing or Guangzhou. The main city near the elevator is Changsha, the capital city of Hunan province. You can also fly to Changsha (or take high-speed train from Guangzhou) from most of main cities and then take the daily long distance buses to Zhangjiajie, but this way will waste a lot of time.
