Fu Su Huai

This Chinese Scholartree is said to have been planted by Xu Heng, Ji Jiu (the president) of Guo Zi Jian in the Yuan Dynasty. In the 16th year during the reign of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1751), when the 10th birthday of Emperor Qianlong's moter was celebrated, the tree, which had been withered and dead for a long time, burst into life. Thus the tree was later named "Fu Su Huai" (Fu Su means coming back to life in Chinese).
