The Timetable Pavilion

The Timetable Pavilion is a small hall-shaped stone shrine that was placed upon a slender and high stone pedestal. Before the ceremony began, the officials of the Department of Astronomy put a timetable in the shrine. According to the timetable, the emperor would leave the palace and perform the rites at the altars with ease and calm. During his abstinence, if some state affairs arose, the official reports were placed in the Timetable Pavilion, hence it is also known as the Reporting Pavilion.
